I have four independent variables that are all scales (in SPSS). My moderator is dummy coded and my dependent variable is multinomial and coded as 1 - 2 - 3.
The moderator moderates all four relationships between the dependent and independent variables.
So I figured out that I need to use a multinomial logit model when I am not including the moderator relationship. However, what do I use when the dummy moderator variable is included?
How can I test this relationship using SPSS?
You are correct about the logistic regression but if I understand you correctly your setup is wrong.you use logistic regression if the DV is categorical. The RHS is about the same what ever the DV. You need to google two things : types of logistic regression and this: research virginia mediation moderation. Pay attention to these things and you can pretty much modify the programs in your research to get what you need.
