Hello,
might be a silly question but I am a confused about how to do this, and want to make sure I get it right.
I have a vial with 5 mg of Verteporfin, the zigma data sheet says the product has a solubility in DMSO of 2mg/ml but this would require me to add 2.5 L of DMSO. On the other on the tocris website it says that Verteporfin has a max solubility in DMSO of 14.38 mg/ml for a max solubility of 20mM which I can actually work with. I would like to reconstitute the drug to stock solution in the vial which I can then add to a 12 well plate at concentrations of 2, 5 10, and 20uM. how do I go about this? Will the drug precipitate out if I when I add it to cell media? Thank you for in advance for any help
