If we want to mix the nanoparticle with soil or sediment in low dose, for example, less than 200 mg/kg, and want to have 10g mixed soil in total, how can I mix the nanoparticle with soil thoroughly?
The difficulty here are: 1,How to minimize the aggregation of NPs.
2, We only need about 2mg NPs per 10 g soil. How to mix such low dose of NPs with soil to get a uniform mixed soil?

Try a simple approach spike at higher concentration, e.g. 50 mg / 500 mg soil, then add soil in doses and mix well after each dilution, dilute subsamples etc. to finely result desired concentration.
Nano particles may aglomarate or aggregate even while preparing/synthesizing at last stages when nano size is attained especially in top down approach. How the particles are kept ,in some medium or packaged appropriately. Strict safety protocols have to followed while sample preparation and handling.Small aliquots if the nano particles are in some liquid medium and dilution approach if they are in solid form may be appropriate.
Your mixing options depend on what the purpose of your study is. How much manipulation of the soil is acceptable for your study? Is it important to maintain existing soil structure at smaller particle/aggregate sizes?
