I am trying to design a controller using C.L.F for a particular problem and I want to find the settling time for the controller that I would design for convergence near a desired equilibrium point that I want to define myself. It would be very nice if you can provide some intuition behind this.

Also, In the wikipedia page for the example section I could not find any reference but the controller appears to converge to a desired equillibrium point and according to the authors varying the alpha and kappa would do but I need some light on this topic can you help me.
