I have to study the seismic behaviour of suction caisson for offshore application. Unfortunately I have a poor knowledge of soil; it's a normal consolidated clay and I know just averange trends of Su, Vs and density with depth. I know, also, 2 value of PI: 70 for the first 10 m depth, and about 40 for greater depth. the maximum depth in which I have these parameters is 30 m. My suction caisson is 15 m long.
I want to use Kinematic Hardening Constitutive Model with Von Mises failure criterion (I.Anastasopoulos; F. Galagoti; R. Kourkoulis; G. Gazetas) for my investigation.
I can use this simply through material library of Abaqus just setting parameters or I have to encode this with user-defined subroutine?
If I can do define just with Abaqus material library, how can I do?
I calibrated your model with Vucetic and Dobry shear modulus-strain curve for my PI values.
