I did a descriptive analysis on the information sources used by respondents. Responses were recorded using 5-point Likert scales. Mean scores and standard deviations were calculated.
However, the mean scores between information sources seem to show little variation; they depict close values. Does this mean my data are not worth reporting?
Reporting these values in terms of which one has the higher mean score or which one has the lower mean score without proving there's a significant difference, does it sound legit?
I have seen in the literature how authors merely report the mean values according the the which one is high and which one is low. Should I just follow this pattern?
I am just confused....
Should I run any other statistical tests? HELP
