I have to run some experiments on D283 and D341 medulloblastoma cell lines, but have no experience culturing these cell lines. I have only ever handled 293Ts (adherent) and various AML/CML cell lines like MOLM-13, K562, SET-2 (suspension), but have no experience with semi-adherent/suspension cells like D283 and D341. I have EMEM for D283 and IMEM for D341.

When do I passage these cells? Do I have to wait for D283 to be confluent before passaging? Are there any special handling techniques (e.g. don't resuspend too much, etc.)? I also have to transduce these cells with overexpression plasmids, would greatly appreciate any help with spinfection conditions!
