Yesterday I was harvesting some cells and made a mistake in diafiltraion phase ..

suddenly my hollow fiber started to foul in this phase despite the flux was under the critical and the flow was as same as concentration phase ..

We figured out that when the machine started to fill reservoir with diafiltraion buffer , used the inlet that had some NaOH .. so the cells started to lyse and consequently the membrane started to foul .. (flux 70 out of 330 , 21%)

now my question is what should I do to clean my hollow fiber ?

I tried Alcohol , Urea and Concentrated NaOH and succeed to return the fouling for a little (72% , 240 out of 330) ..

so I would greatly appreciate it if somebody help me to improve my membrane's filtration rate ...

my hollow fiber's model is CFP-4-E-3MA from GE healthcare...

Thanks...
