Hello,
I would like to make a sensitivity experiment on android built-in accelerometers (tri-axonal) an make a statistical analysis (correlation etc) in Matlab. My questions are:
1..What would be a valid experiment? For example, should I set the mobiles in 60, 90, 180 angle, face-down (z-axis in -1g position) and face-up positions (z-axis in 1g position)?
2. how do I calculate the sensitivity. I have read in a manual that it is: subtracting the larger mean instantaneous acceleration output value from the smaller mean output value and dividing the result by 2.0 . Is that true?
I would appreciate any help.
