We need to add recoil pressure at the moment of phase change, as in, activate the recoil pressure when the fluid starts vapourizing. Any suggestions?

If you know the exact time you want the pressure boundary condition to take effect you can use a variable that multiplies the pressure parameter with a Heaviside function that turns from 0 to 1 at the time you define. However, it is very difficult to give advice without the model. If you want to give a more detailed description or post the .mph somewhere I could perhaps help you more.
