I am looking for a protocol that allow us to measure GSR during the experience of touch.
As we know GSR is really sensitive to movement so I want to know how could we free from the movement artefacts?
Moreover, where could we put the electrodes if hands are already used for the tactile experience?
If you want to use both hands during the experiment, it may be possible to place electrodes on the bottom of feet. However, as Payne et al. (2013) point out, the signal values and latencies were lower on the feet.
If you are really just trying to get a measure of sympathetic response, it may be wiser to try different sensors that can indicate that physiological activity. For example, using impedance cardiography to capture pre-ejection period would also give you a purely sympathetic response.
