Suppose, we have an electrode fabricated with a material (nanoparticles) which have recently been prepared. If we want to find out its diffusion coefficient by using Randles-sevcik equation, we also need its surface area which is not known. So, in this case we have two unknown terms (i.e. Surface area & Diffusion coefficient). What method is supposed to be used to tackle this situation.

One of the way you can solve this problem is to calculate the surface area of your modified electrode in a redox probe such as 10mM K3Fe(CN)6 + 1M KCl whose diffusion coefficient is already known ( D= 7.6 X 10-6 cm2 s-1 ) . After finding the surface area you can calculate the diffusion coefficient again in your desired redox system through the same Randles-Sevic equation.
@Wahid Ullah, I already had a vague idea of what you suggested, but I was not confirm and was confused that, the diffusion coefficient "D" of the mentioned redox probe (K3Fe(CN)6 may be different for different surfaces e.g. one "D" value for a material (GCE) and other "D" value for other material (nanoparticles). Please, give me a confirmation so I could continue.
yes I have the same problem I want to calculate the actif area of modified microelectrode but I dont know wish value of coefficient diffusion should I used for electrolytic solution [Fe(CN)6]3-/4-
