I have some data and I want to illustrate some graph in R. I have installed "sm" package but when I want to draw the graph, I receive the following:
could not find function "vioplot"
Many thanks.
Hello Radu,
You need the ggplot2 package, just install it and then try this tutorial for ilustration:
http://www.sthda.com/english/wiki/ggplot2-violin-plot-quick-start-guide-r-software-and-data-visualization
May be this questions are interesting for you.
Hi,
Other option than ggplot2 (Elena's answer) you can use vioplot package.
vioplot depends on sm package because the violin plot is a combined of a box plot and a kernel density plot from sm package.
This example may help:
https://www.r-bloggers.com/example-8-11-violin-plots/
vioplot is not part of the sm package
Thank you all for the useful answers you provided me.
