Hello sir,

First of all, thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I've tried all of the above without any success. My system is fully up to date, I've ran multiple full system check ups and no malware was detected, all drivers seem to also be up to date, I have 16 GB of RAM of which 8 are always available, I have 200 GB of free SSD space, my scratch folder was in TEMP and I changed it and still no change and I reinstalled the program.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Radu,

Are you using AMD processer? I've seen people having that issue with AMD processors.

One reported solution is changing the Equation Solver type from Direct to Iterative.

Thank you for your answer. Your solution only applies to 3D models. Unfortunately all my work focuses on 2D models and Abaqus does not support iterative solver with 2D models.
