As long as I know beside steric stabilization, we can stabilize the particle using electrostatic stabilization by adjusting the zeta potential. How to increase the value of zeta potential? I've heard about pH adjustment and salt addition. Anyone have another method? Or anyone have more complete explanation about this?
So you mean the PSS is added just to increase the amount of charged species on NPs, then we can washed the polymer away and the particles is already stabilized, am I right?
to increase the stability of NP in suspension use proper surfactants.
Use surface passivating ligands , so that the charge is even or even it may even increase the surface charge so that the aggregation is avoided
