How can we make groups of different parameters and their selection for logistic regression models in ecological studies?

I want to make different models for nest selection of birds based on different nesting tree parameters. Kindly guide me how i can go for it. Please describe simply and basic.

Wow... Where to start here? There seems to be an infinite number of directions you could go depending on the data you have (number of parameters, sample sizes, distributions etc) and more importantly your hypothesis (if you are hypothesis testing).

That being said my advice would be START SIMPLE, probably with some type of linear model. A bit better understanding of the data and what you are trying to figure out will probably yield some answers that are more specific.
