Our aim is to immobilize silver nanoparticles on commercially available OHP sheet without using any sophisticated printing methods. Are there any chemical treatment of the OHP that can help us to make the immobilization more effective?

Does the sheet possess a pore volume? I suggest that you determine this to begin with.
If it does you could absorb silver nitrate solution onto it and then reduce with 5 or 10% hydrazine hydrate or H2.
Alan F Rawle sir, the sheets are made of Cellulose or plastic. So we are not sure if it does possess a pore volume. But the idea that you have shared is interesting and we would like to try this even if it leads to partially immobilized nanoparticles. Also, we will try to obtain porous polymer sheets Thank you for the suggestion.

You could simply soak the plastic sheet (or a small section thereof) in dilute ammoniacal silver nitrate and expose to light. Concentration of the Ag(NH3)2+ will be important. See these:

In the 70's (that's the 1970's not my 70's) I absorbed choloroauric acid onto a number of polymers and dried and this gave colloidal gold on substrates as diverse as PTFE and PVC. I suspect the same will be true for Ag.
