I have a simple nanoparticle: a thin cylinder of silicon, I wanted to get the farfield and nearfield scattering profiles. I was able to get the former but not the latter. My idea was to put a TFSF with a size very close to the size of the nanoparticle. I have used 2 cross-section analysis groups, one is a little bit bigger than the TFSF source to capture the near field and the other one much bigger than the TFSF source to capture the farfield. It looks like this fails in the case of the near field.
In the attachment you find a screenshot of this situation.
Any suggestions for getting the nearfield scattering?
