We have drastically failed to find a viable solution to eradicate extreme proverty and hunger.People are struggling for food and go to sleep for empty stomach.
The problem lies in the distribution of wealth & not in the growth of wealth. Globally, production of food exceeds the demand of feeding the human beings. Some countries burn or throw in the sea a good part of their crops to control the prices. When the wealthy individuals help the needy within a country & when a rich nation helps a poor nation unconditionally, there will be no hunger. However, what is required is real application of fair systems of inter- & intra- distributions.
This is not a question of finding technical solutions. This is a moral question: being ethical, helpful and restricting egoism, desire for power and avoiding wasting materials and energy.
In summary, using common sense and elementary moral rules.
We could live in peace with each other and everybody could get his/her necessary food and other demands if behaving like that.

Unequal income distribution which is likely to increase with increasing foreign investment, not disputing the fact it will generate employment, but will widen income gap. Politicians must be honest in delivering without giving favors to anyone and the the corruption must be uprooted. Our, country has sufficient to provide wants of double of its present population for centuries.
It is a political problem and can be solved only political will and decision-making.
The International estimates belie the governmental estimates of poverty. The Global Human Development Report of UNDP in 2011 put the number of poor in India at 61.2 crores. Reports by the World Bank (2010) and the Oxford and Human Development Initiative show that over 32.7 per cent of the population lives on less than $1.25 per day and that India houses over 410 million poor people. India stooped to 134th position, from 135th position on the Human Development Index, 2011.
At first glance it seems impossible. We have a long pass to reach this goal.It requires international action and religion and religious leaders can play important role in this path.
This does not mean that we can`t do any thing, we should do our best and specially try to form NGOs for solving this problem.
We create an international law that fix a maximum ratio between the income of the richest and the poorest in each country. Each government could decide on this maximum ratio with a negotiation with the UN. Violation of this rule would result in tarif of exportation of service and good from the faulty country.
We find the rich becomes richer and poor stays poor in our society .In order to improve the skills of economically backward, vocational education needs to be provided to make them industry ready. The vocational training is a must in rural and semi urban areas.
