Usually , the moethod used for the determination HCN is based on picric acid, but according to it explosive and toxicity proporties, we prevent to use it.
Is there any other method to determine the production of HCN from bacteria ??

I would not worry about picric acid toxicity when working with HCN..
It is not explosive in solution, just avoid heavy metals.
I agree with Misha, the picric acid solution you use for the assay is at a low concentration and hence not dangerous as a concentrated stock solution might be.
However there are other assays including use of a CN specific electrode.

In fact , We can not buy picric acid in our country. for that resean I ask if there is onther method
HCN must be inhibitory to some enzymatic reactions.
then you could monitor the inhibition of the enzymatic activity
to determine the [HCN].
