I was solving tutorial of simulation of solar absorber plate with water flowing through absorber tube. I am unable to give coupled wall condition between fluid surface (water) and solid surface (plate). How to create interface between fluid surface and solid surface?
you can also define the meshed volume nature (solid or fluid) in the preprocessor (grid generator) then create in fluent mesh interface as in the answer of AMIR HOZHBR
If you are using ANSYS Mesh, you can couple solid and liquid bodies by making them two components in one part. This will automatically create coupled interfaces between all bodies. Hope that helps.
ANSYS does it for you...when meshing, you might have noticed a tab on the left hand side (I believe its called interfaces)...
Though if you want to make sure that your interfaces are as you want them to be, select the interfaces, add/remove faces from the selected faces, and save as a new named selection. this way you can manually introduce your interface to fluent.
in the solid wall which is gonna be erode, i consider as a wall and i have to set erosion parameters but the same wall act as a interface, so in this case how can I proceed? if i give two different name on the same surface, it gives an error,,any idea?
May be you can use a surface on top of solid during meshing, Use one as an interface and the other one for erosion parameter.
If you want a conformal mesh (1:1) go to DesignModeler and create a single part with the two bodies
