In order to simulate flood propagation in MIKE FLOOD software, it is necessary to define appropriate boundary conditions so that the model simulates flood areas. How can this be done?
Dear Fatemeh Ahmadi, You need to define your boundary conditions for river in 1D model like MIKE11 or MIKE Hydro, and for 2D floodplain, you can define your boundaries in MIKE 21. The MIKE Flood is just a coupling tool to connect 1D and 2D models (i.e., MIKE 11/MIKE Urban and MIKE 21). You may can check papers including my following two papers. Thank you
