If we assign it in boundary conditions in fluent , we know it will treat it as a constant.
But if wall is initially hot and cools by convection ( means not constant temperature) how can we treat that problem in Fluent?
you can consider your condition as a time dependent in this case you have enable transient state or you can assume steady state and your thermal condition as a convection if you know the heat transfer coefficient and free stream temperature.
Typically we specify the whole domain, including the wall, the same temperature at time zero. If the wall has a thickness, then you specify the wall zone an initial temperature with an initial temperature. suppose a value at normal state then complete your steps and analysis in the fluent model.
I think the best way is to measure the temperature of the laboratory and modify the initial condition of the ANSYS according to it.
If your research is numerical only, you can let the initial condition as standards.
