What are the differences between Graphene Quantum Dots and Carbon Quantum Dots? How can I differentiate them using UV-Vis, XRD, AFM or any other techniques?

GQDs have a crystalline structure and CQDs have a amorphous structure, then you can do FFT analysis of HR-TEM.
Some articles report the (002) plane for carbon quantum dots. they mentioned that name as graphitic carbon quantum dots. they also got fringes, SAED pattern match with graphitic carbon. So how can we distingush and which one is right, whether CQDs are crystalline or amorphous. GQDs are crystalline, no doubts. And How can we distinguish them using Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) of HRTEM. Please explain.
