What Refractive Index to use for barley flour particle size analysis?

Hi, I am looking to use Mastersizer 3000E for particle size analysis of barley flour. I was wondering what refractive index to use for this. I know most papers suggest RI of 1.57 for wheat, would this work for barley too? I could not find any papers for barley. Cheers!
