I have a heat transfer optimization problem. My heat transfer area is governed by a quadratic equation in two variables as follows which is to be supplied as a constraint:
-26.143+4.3229*l2^2+l1^2+4*l1*l2=0
where l1 and l2 are geometric parameters
My problem is that I don't know how to write equality constraints in COMSOL 5.2. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Afzal,
you can use weak or point wise constraints, see the attached screenshot. I prefer to use an "if condition", in your case it would look like this:
if (26.143+4.3229*l2^2+l1^2+4*l1*l2=0, than this happen, otherwise this happen (if nothing should happen just put zero here))
