Hi I have a 1D PDE problem that I want to solve it with comsol. my dependent variable is T[K] which is a temperature field . I need to use a part of my field , for example, consider that I have 400cm metal bar domain and I need to use T[K] just in 0-200cm how can do this in comsol or can I define vector for this pourpose?
You can define "Cut Line 2D" in results and specify its length from 0 to 200 [cm].
And in "1D Plot Group" you can see "Line Graph". Then you can see Temperature Distribution in the plot
thanks, Naveed Salman . Indeed my problem is that I have to put a source term in the PDE interface in comsol (h(T1-T2)). I need that comsol solve my pde equation and after that compute h(T1-T2) and use this term as source term again and reapet it for each time step .for this pourpos i need that comsol subtract T1-T2 IN each position for example (T1 at x=1:200- T2 at x=201:400)and ... .please see one of my eq here.

If your analysis could be done in two steps, I would recommend defining two studies, and using the final solutions of the first study as the initial conditions for the second one. In the first study, you can select 0-200 mm as the computational domain and run your analysis; and when the first study is completed, apply changes to the model, and finally submit your second study.
