I perform cell migration assays and I would like to know how to measure using ImageJ.
Check out these macros - http://dev.mri.cnrs.fr/projects/imagej-macros/wiki/Wound_Healing_Tool
And this paper - Article Rapid quantification of cellular proliferation and migration...
Check the below printed pdf link which in simple talks about how to perform scratch assay (though thats not ur current requirement) and how to analyze the images using ImageJ
https://www.le.ac.uk/biochem/microscopy/pdf/Wound%20healing%20assay.pdf
The following publications will probably help a lot:
Article Rapid quantification of cellular proliferation and migration...
Article Automated Quantification and Analysis of Cell Counting Proce...
Good luck - CL
You can also try this macro for Image J

You can also use the Tscratch software
Here is a tutorial for measuring area of scratch assay using ImageJ software https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXzAZbL_704
