Dear all, I want to compare the FEA solution to the analytical solution which is otained from Euler-Bernoulli beam deflection equations. The numerical results were diffrents than those which were obtained analytically and I need to stop the beam188 element from including the shear deformation effects to see if i will obtain the same results as those which were obtained analytically. There is any possibility to do this operation in Ansys? Thank you all.
