In Comsol multiphysics, the bearing can simulate by Hydrodynamic bearing or thin fluid film module. But when I want to add a constitutive equation for viscosity the shear rate can not appear as a variable. I want to know how can I use these modules and simulate the nonnewtonian lubrication for journal bearing?
Well i think you should add another module (CFD module) which is capable of dealing with non Newtonian fluids. For instance see the:

yes i did this example but in thin fluid film module it is so much diffrent. i think i can not add viscoelastic module. i want to add constitutive equation manually.
