I am trying to simulate an electromagnetic problem with COMSOL: a multi-material (2 different materials) sample within a coil and under the influence of a magnetic field generated by the coil.
For the sake of simplicity, I generated the geometry of the sample (a rectagular plate with a cylindrical dipole in the center) and an external cylindrical domain (which represents the air inside the coil that is surrounding the sample). I am applying a magnetic field to the whole system.
I am trying to obtain the magnetization of all the materials involved -sample, dipole and air- (defined according to their permeability values). I have been able to obtain the magnetization of the sample, but I cannot obtain values of the magnetic field in the air (cylindrical domain).
Can anyone help me?

Hello Jose,
Your attached PDF does not really provide much information (just a wireframe and variables). Without additional information, I would first suggest you check all boundary conditions and check that the physics is correctly applied to the appropriate domains, surfaces, etc. You may find enabling 'Equation View' under the settings tab makes it easier understand the propagation of data through the model and helps highlight any issues.
Which COMSOL version are you using?
Can you upload your model? That way finding what is wrong would be much easier.
Without including the surrounding air, COMSOL would not solve the problem. If you get a solution magnetic field should be there. I think it is only a matter of plotting the correct results. Better you upload your file to see what is missing...
Did you define each domain separately?

First of all, thanks for all your responses. We checked the domains, boundary conditions and physics of the problem with an expert in COMSOL (not in electromagnetism problems, though, and that is the reason for this question posted here) and we are pretty sure that all those aspects (the model in general) are correct.

Davison, Mohammadreza: as I said above, the air domain was corretly added and each domain has been defined separately with correct properties (please, see attached file)
Sabine: effectively, the magnetization of the air is zero, but my main interest is to calculate the intensity of the magnetic field generated by the dipole in the air (i.e., the magnetic flux density), and this should not be zero in the air or the vacuum (e.g., if we place a Hall probe in the air close to a magnet/dipole, or in the outer space close to the Earth, we can measure the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field associated to the magnet/dipole/Earth, and it's not zero)
