Hi All,

I am currently carrying out some migration assays using stem cells. I have previously carried out migration work but it was difficult to to see the crystal violet staining properly against the porous membrane as I have encountered in other threads. I was wondering if you could suggest me more safe and reliable staining kits or methods to quantify the attachment of the cells to the lower membrane. I am not sure crystal violet is the best option.

Also, I would appreciate any suggestions or tips that could contribute to the boyden chamber assay being less variable.

Thank you in advance.
