How can I measure the total strontium（Sr in solution + Sr adsorbed by kaolinite） in clay suspension after the mixture of Sr and clay through the porous media？

（1）Can we make Sr desorbed by the addition of acid，then detect by ICP-MS?

（2）Firstly，measuring the concentration of clay in suspension by UV and the solution conc. of Sr by Icp-ms, then, calculating total Sr amount according to the adsorption isotherm?

Which one is better?

Does someone recommend the best mothed?
