Basically I have synthesis WO3. H2O and I have graphene nano flakes. Both are in powder form. Now I would like to make their nano composites so kindly suggest easiest way. Like if I dissolve both nano materials in H2O and do sonication treatment for several hours than can I get nano composite of WO3 and graphene?
Hi muhamad, basically grapheme is not a water soluble one. I think you may know this. if you have water soluble graphene you can go for sonication and also it will be effective to blend. or you prepare grahene first then use this solid in WO3 synthesis moment.
I think this is not available method to obtain the GR-WO3 nanocomposites because the obtained WO3 and graphene have few defect to joint. Another problem is that this bonding is so weak. When you use it, it is possible to separate. I think you can make surface modification first, had better to synthesis in situ or in an one-pot method.
If you would like to employ high frequency ultrasound, make sure first that the both materials dessolve in the same solvent, then treat the mixture with the ultrasound under heating on their melting point temperature.

M S Archana and Pratama Jujur Wibawa answer to near your question. But,. you can make WO3@graphene composites. How you prepare WO3 and what is the precursor (WCl6, Na2WO4, commercial WO3, phosphotungstic acid etc.,).
1.You can add graphene to WO3 under a controlled atmosphere and sonication, you will get WO3@graphene.
2. You can add graphene to WO3 in ethanol as dispersion medium then sonication in room temperature for 3 hrs. Then the resulting composites was recovered by centrifugation and rinsed with ethanol and H2O several times, then dried under vacuum at 60 C to obtain WO3@graphene.
