Hello,

I am using phase inversion to make EVOH membranes, using DMSO as a solvent and ethanol as a non-solvent. When the membrane is wet it is flexible and stretchable. However, once I dry it in a vacuum oven, the membrane becomes rigid and almost in a 'glassy' state, maintaining very little stretchability. How can I avoid this? I was thinking of heating above the Tg and then quickly cooling in liquid nitrogen, but any help is appreciated.
