I am attempting to study the thermal stability of a polymer sample(regenerated cellulose) before and after exposing it to radiation. I've attached the TGA graph for both.

After treatment the initial  decomposition temp decreases as expected as radiation could have lead to degradation of some bonds, now my doubts are :

1) Three degradation peaks are seen in both graphs, however after radiation there is a change in peak height for all three what does a change in peak height indicate? In my understanding it shows the amount of material being decomposed at that temp, is that it? If yes, does the smaller peak height after radiation indicate that some bonds were boken during radiation leading to less being left over to decompose?

2) The TGA for after radiation sample shows a lower initial decomposition temp but also a higher final decomposition temp than the before sample, I'm confused as to whether this means after radiation the sample become less thermally stable or more?

I am a beginner with these characterization technique so there is a lot I could have missed form the graph so apart from my questions,  any other advice on the graph is much appreciated.

Thank you.
