How can I input latitude and longitude as explanatory variables in GESTE 2.0 (population genomics software)?

The manual explains how to input environmental variables ~(or factors) and interactions between them but does not explicity explain how to input geographical coordinates.

Should I just input latitude as factor G1, longitude as fastor G2 and the interaction of both?

Yes, enter latitude and longitude as separate factors. Remember too they are continuous rather than categorical variables, although you can transform them to be categorical :-)
