Hi everyone.
I'm running analysis using XRF for Magnetite and Hematite. As I know that XRF give the analysis in the oxide, so I want to find the weight percent of Fe3O4 and Fe2O3. But the result just only showed the percent of Fe2O3 for both of material.
For EDX and ICP, these method just show the elemental weight percent (Fe, Mg, Ca, ect.).
How to identify the Fe3O4 weight percent given by the XRF? or I have to use other machine?
Could you give me some advice?

If you have both in a mixture: No chance! You have to use another method, like XRD or chemical methods... Sorry!
If you have only hematite and magnetite (not other iron contatining minerals) in high contents you can try to estimate Fe2+/Fe3+ ratio by FeKb5 or FeLb lines intensities and then to calculate ratio of hametite and magnetite because only magnetite contains Fe2+
