I used Real-TM PCR which shows qualitative analysis for identification of HLA B27 after DNA extraction from patient blood sample. The analysis show me whether it is positive or negative. But I don't understand that which subtypes of HLA B27 are strongly associated with the result.
I don't know even how can I specifically identify the subtypes of HLA B27 by the quantitative or qualitative analysis of Real-TM PCR or conventional PCR?
Can I say anything about subtypes from my positive or negative result of HLA B27?
Please help me through answer this question. It’s urgent!!!
If the subtypes are SNPs or 1-4 deletions or additions, just design more FRET detection probes with different dyes consistent with your instrument. Do this in multiplex with homogeneous controls as in my patent "Positive controls in Polynucleotide Amplification; United States Patent; 7,070,962".
