Ill-conditioned conjugate heat transfer means conductivity of the solid and of the fluid differ by orders of magnitude. Since the solid takes a lot of time to heat up and fluid usually heats up in milli- second. I was wondering how to solve such a problem in FLUENT. Ansys FLOTRAN has a special solver specifically dealing with such cases.
