I try to model charged nanoparticles moving in two parallel plates with voltage on boundary condition. However, the electrical field setting in MHD model in Fluent does not affect the charged particles at all.
I remember I have reviewed one article about electrostatic force on particle dispersion in an enclosed space with Fluent. The article is published in the journal Building and Environment. Maybe you can search it.
You need to check the particles charge density, If we assume a single charge on each particle, then Usually smaller particles up to 10 or 15 nm would be effected by applying a high voltage on the boundaries. However particles larger than the mentioned size would be almost unaffected.
If you want larger particles to be effected by voltage, then you need to increase the charge density on large particles, means you have to consider many charges on large particles.
