I have done cytotoxicity activity of some plant extract on N4X4 and Hela Ks386 cell lines by trypan blue dye exclusion method resulting percentage of cell viability counting. Now I need details and origin of the mentioned two cell lines.
N4X4 is a human glioma NP-2 cell line and stably express CXCR4. This cell line was mentioned in Teeranaipong P. et al. Journal of the International AIDS Society 2013, 16:18723 (1st attachment). They referenced to the original article for generation of the cell line by Shimizu et al. AIDS 2009, 23:761–769 (2nd attachment).
Hela Ks386 cells were generated by Sakamoto et al. Journal of Virological Methods 114 (2003) 159–166 (3rd attachment). They were Hela cells selected with blasticidin S hydrochloride after transfecting a plasmid pKS386. Construction of pKS386 was detailed in their paper.
