I modeled a composite plate in Geometry module, then meshed in model, but error comes while edit in setup module in ACP. Error box attached here.
Please check your mesh and the thickness of the shell model. Make sure you have a shell geometry.
In your screenshot steht that it is explicit dynamics. That is the reasone your are getting this error. Because as far as i know you cannot solve Explicit Dynamics in Post ACP

thank you very much for your illustrative video of ACP.
Problem is to simulate projectile impact on solid composite. So can I use ACP in combination of AUTODYN or dynamic/explicit.
If you make you model 2d. you can import it into Explicit as explicit cannot accept solid model from ACP. I am not sure about AUTODYN
Zouhir Bensebban , Md Muslim Ansari did either of you ever figure out this issue. I can't get it to accept my mesh either
