I am preparing a composite of NiFe₂O₄ and CoFe₂O₄ nanoparticles with polypropylene (PP). For this, I dissolve PP in toluene and then add my nanopowders. However, CoFe₂O₄ sticks to the container and the magnet. Most importantly, when first added, it changes the color of the solution very slightly.

This might be due to the surfactants (PEG and NO) I used during the synthesis of the nanoparticles. Additionally, when using a mechanical mixer, toluene evaporates because the container is not sealed, leading to a change in concentration. What should I do?
