Well, a little more context would help. Where precisely did you find the mouse (a mouse research facility, pet shop, in the wild)? There are many genetic changes that can lead to reduced fur pigmentation, a bit more information on the phenotype would help too. What color eyes does your mouse have?

In the EU, we can use mice which were bred for experiments-only. I hope you found that mice at a research facility. In that case, you will find primers for those particular genes in the literature.
