How can I detect Leishmania antigens in leishmania patient blood sample, in consideration not detecting the antigen through detecting its antibody?

In case of cutaneous Leishmania blood smear you would have to check for the amastigote form existence within the macrophage or even in the extracellular fluid. If not found, check for the promastigote existence in the fluid especially close to fibroid structure in the smear.
