I modelled the concrete reinforced with FRP reinforcing bars and I want to use nonlinear springs to connect concrete to bar. I read PhD thesis and he used JointC as nonlinear spring. I find JointC in ABAQUS manual, but I don't understand every thing. I tried to use connector by choosing transitional type: axial, then I choose nonlinear and uncoupling, and elasticity. I inserted the values forces and the corresponding displacements Which represent the characteristics of nonlinear spring. My question does define JointC is by using connector/axial? I am afraid I define JointC in wrong way, I tried to look for Joint C, but I didn't find it in abaqus, although it is mentioned in abaqus manual,
