I have time period data and acceleration in horizontal and vertical direction. I want to define seismic amplitude for my simulation.Please help me if anyone has experience about this issue.How can I convert these acceleration data to Acc-Time data?
Majid Mohammadhosseinzadeh you can use SEISMOARTIF software developed by Seismosoft which generates artificial time history data that matches your response spectra.
SeismoMatch, also by SeismoSoft.org, may also be useful if SeismoArtif does not produce acceptable histories. SeismoMatch modifies a ground motion record in the time domain using wavelets to obtain agreement between the modified record response spectrum and the defined target response spectrum. SeismoArtif performs frequency domain based record modification by altering the Fourier spectrum and converting back to an acceleration history. While both are very useful, I have had more success with time domain matching. Just another option for you.
