Sulphur is quite soluble in most dipolar aprotic solvents: I've used N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) as a solvent for it (mainly because we'd got lots of the solvent!). Sulphur doesn't dissolve in anything very quickly: if you've got access to an ultrasonic probe, that'll help, whatever method you choose. I think my approach would be to use NMP, ultrasonic if I could find a probe, and some sort of brush. Flush out with more NMP, then with whatever solvent you want to put in the autoclave (water, presumably).

Remember that all dipolar aprotic solvents are quite good at carrying anything dissolved in them through the skin barrier, so wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

why dont you probe acetic acid diluied at 20% , it could be remove the sulphur and after you can use some sodium bicarbonate to neutralize the area.

You can use chloroform to remove the sulfur.
