better to use HPLC or HPTLC method rather than simple UV.
because OF HIGH ABSORBANCE OF CURCUMIN UV method is too very sensitive.
Solvent play a big role so either dry the extract first or make a calibration curve of standard in same ratio of sovents
Calculate yield directly in percentage yield of curcumin using formula
Wt of curcumin/Wt of raw material X 100
You can calculate the Curcumin % yield using formula: % Yield of the extract = Cx /CY X100
Where Cx = Curcumin weight after extraction process
CY = Curcumin material weight taken for extraction

Yield (%)= (W1*100)/W2
Where,
W1= weight of the extract residue obtained after solvent removal
W2= weight of the plant powder.
Or
Yield (%)= (W2-W1/W0*100)
Where,
W1= Weight of extract with container
W2= Weight of blank container
W0= Weight of the initial dried sample
